👨‍🍳 Instructions

Cream butter.

Add sugar, one cup at a time and cream well. Add eggs, two at a time, creaming well.

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, then add to batter, mixing well.

Add lemon and vanilla.

Pour batter into a tube cake pan.

Bake in preheated oven 40 minutes at 275°.

Then turn heat to 300° and bake 50 to 60 minutes longer.
