Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. milk, 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 2 eggs, well beaten and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Scald milk.
Meanwhile, soften yeast in the warm water.
In a large bowl put sugar and shortening.
Pour milk over sugar and shortening.
When lukewarm, add 1 cup flour; mix well.
Beat in eggs.
Beat in remaining flour.
Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; allow to set 5 to 10 minutes.
Knead; form dough into a large ball and place in deep greased bowl.
Turn dough to bring greased surface to top.
Cover with towel or lid.
Let rise until dough is doubled, about 1 hour.
