Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sweet milk, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 pkg. dry yeast and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

To scalding; dissolve sugar and shortening in milk in large covered bowl.
Let cool until lukewarm.
Put yeast in small amount of warm water, enough to dissolve yeast. When milk cools to lukewarm, add yeast.
Stir in enough flour until it's batter. and let set for 1 1/2 hours. Then salt, soda and baking powder.
Stir in more flour, it won't be of kneading consistency.
Leave in refrigerator at least
2 hours.
Can be left overnight.
Take out; roll out rolls, let rise 2 hours before baking.
