Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sweet milk, 1 egg, 1/2 cake or 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar and 1/4 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Add beaten egg to milk.
Dissolve yeast and warm water.
Add to egg mixture.
Cut shortening into flour.
Mix flour and egg mixture.
Knead and roll dough to about 1-inch thickness.
Cut with cutter.
Brush tops with butter or margarine.
Place on greased cookie sheet and cover with towel.
Let rise 2 hours. Bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes in preheated oven.
