Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. lukewarm water, 1 1/2 c. scalded milk, 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 c. plain flour and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Scald milk; cool slightly.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine salt, sugar, egg and oil with yeast and water.
Add milk and flour in 3 parts; mix well.
Turn onto floured surface and knead slightly until smooth.
Put into buttered bowl; butter top. Cover with clean dish cloth.
Let rise to double.
Take out desired amount.
Knead, roll and cut to desired shapes.
Put into buttered pan; butter tops.
Cover; let rise.
Bake at 400Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Put remaining dough in buttered, covered Tupperware bowl.
Refrigerate; use as needed.
Yields 3 dozen.
