Cream butter and sugar; add egg and mix well.
Add salad oil and continue beating.
Add oatmeal, corn flakes and coconut; mix well.
Add flour, salt, soda and vanilla.
Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
Bake at 325Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
