World'S Best Brownies(Can Be Made In One Pan) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt margarine and chocolate in a double boiler (or in microwave for about 2 minutes).
Remove from heat and add sugar. Stir well.
Add eggs and mix thoroughly.
Add flour and beat only until flour is incorporated.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Pour into a 9-inch square pan which has been greased with margarine or sprayed with Baker's Joy.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
(I then roll them lightly in powdered sugar.)
Makes about 16 squares.
