Working Girl Pie
Working Girl Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 stick margarine, 1 c. self-rising flour, 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. milk and 1 to 1 1/2 c. drained fruit, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Melt butter or margarine in an 8 or 9-inch pie dish while oven is preheating to 350Β°. Set aside.
Combine flour, sugar and about 1/2 of the milk.
Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Add remaining milk and stir until smooth.
Pour batter over melted margarine.
Place drained fruit over top of this mixture.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned and center springs back when touched with finger.
