Wild Rice Stuffing
Wild Rice Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. uncooked wild rice, 1 c. hot water, 1/4 c. melted margarine, 3/4 c. chicken broth and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Soak wild rice in hot water for 1 hour and drain.
Saute rice in margarine until golden brown.
Add chicken broth and salt. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until tender.
Add green onions, celery, mushrooms, marjoram and nutmeg.
Toss lightly to mix.
Yields about 1 1/4 cups.
Also can use rice boiled in a bag.
