Wild Rice Hot Dish
Wild Rice Hot Dish is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. boiling water, 1 c. wild rice, 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped and 2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) cream of chicken soup, undiluted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a large bowl, pour water over rice, let stand for 15 minutes.
Drain and set aside.
In a skillet brown ground beef and onion.
Drain.
Add to rice with remaining ingredients except almonds.
Put in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Cover.
Bake at 350Β° for 2 hours.
Sprinkle almonds on top.
Uncover and bake 30 minutes.
Serves 8 to 12.
