Wild Rice Casserole
Wild Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. wild rice, 1 c. chopped onion, 2 chicken bouillon cubes, 1 1/2 c. chopped celery and 3 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Place wild rice in strainer.
Pour 3 quarts boiling water over rice 4 times, letting rice set in strainer each time, while water returns to boiling.
Brown onion and celery in margarine.
Combine all ingredients in 2-quart casserole.
Bake at 325Β° for about 1 1/4 hour.
Add broth if mixture becomes dry.
Serves 10 to 12.
