Whole Wheat Bread
Whole Wheat Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. salt and 2 1/2 c. lukewarm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix yeast and warm water.
Mix dry ingredients (salt, brown sugar and white and wheat flours).
Mix lukewarm water and margarine.
Mix yeast-water and margarine.
Add flour and sugar mixed, a little at a time, until all is mixed.
Put into greased bowl.
Cover and let rise.
Knead and form into loaves.
Let rise until double.
Bake at 375Β° for 45 minutes.
Cover with foil last 30 minutes.
