White Taffy Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. vinegar and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook all together, except vanilla, without stirring, until candy forms hard ball stage when tried in cold water, or reaches 250Β°.
Remove from heat.
Pour onto buttered platter.
When cool, pull until creamy white, working in the vanilla.
Stretch into long strips about the size of a finger.
Cut into 1-inch lengths. Wrap in waxed paper.
