White Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. margarine, 1/4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. white pepper (optional) and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Place margarine in a 1-quart glass bowl.
Microwave, uncovered, on High for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until melted.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper making a smooth paste.
Gradually add milk, blending well.
Microwave, uncovered, on Medium for 6 to 9 minutes or until sauce is thickened and bubbly, stirring occasionally. Makes 2 cups.
