White Pine Bark Candy is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 2 sticks butter/margarine, 1 (12 oz.) milk chocolate chips, 30 saltine crackers and 1/2 c. nuts (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cover a 9 x 15-inch cookie sheet with foil.
Place single layer of crackers to cover cookie sheet.
Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar and boil for 3 minutes.
While hot, pour over crackers.
Bake at 400Β° for seven minutes.
Watch closely.
Do not burn.
Remove from oven.
Immediately spread chocolate chips over crackers, then top with nuts.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Remove from foil and break into pieces.
Store in refrigerator.
