White Fruit Cake
White Fruit Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 8 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp. rum flavoring and 2 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, rum flavoring, flour, baking soda and unsweetened pineapple juice together.
Mix the mixed fruit, candied cherries, pineapple, dates, raisins and flour together.
Combine the two mixtures together and add the coconut and walnuts.
Mix all together.
Pour into greased bread loaf pans.
Bake at 275Β° for 2 1/2 hours.
Makes approximately 3 to 4 loaves.
