White Ball Cookies

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Mix shortening, margarine, sugar, eggs and flavorings.
(The addition of a few drops of food coloring could be added at this point, if desired.)
Add flour and salt.
Roll dough (about a teaspoonful at a time) into small balls (1 to 1 1/2-inches in diameter) by hand.
Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 5 to 6 minutes or until bottoms are just barely brown. Don't overbake.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
