Western Chili Casserole
Western Chili Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. chopped celery, 1 (15 oz.) can chili with beans and 1 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Brown meat; add 3/4 cup onion and celery. Cook until tender; drain fat.
Add chili and pepper.
Place layer of chips in ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Alternate layers of chili mix, chips and cheese.
Reserve 1/2 cup chips and 1/4 cup cheese for trim.
Sprinkle with reserved cheese and onion.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
