Water Chestnut Salad
Water Chestnut Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, shredded, 1 bunch green onions, chopped, 1 can water chestnuts, washed, drained and sliced thinly, 7 stalks chopped celery and 1 pkg. (small) frozen english peas (still frozen), rinse, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Place first 5 ingredients in order in a big plastic bowl.
Mix together mayonnaise and sugar and spread over the top of salad. Sprinkle Romano cheese on top.
May use bacon bits and/or hard-boiled egg slices as garnishes.
Refrigerate for 8 hours or more before serving.
Toss just before serving.
