Wrap chestnuts with 1/2 slice of bacon; fasten with a toothpick.
Place in rows in 9 x 6 x 12-inch pan.
Bake at 350° until bacon is almost done but not crisp.
Remove from oven; pour off grease.
Combine catsup and sugar.
Pour around but not over chestnuts.
Bake 30 to 45 minutes at 350°.
Serve immediately. Yield
