Walnut Macaroons(Diabetic)
Walnut Macaroons(Diabetic) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats (uncooked), 2 tbsp. granulated sugar replacement, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. vanilla extract and 1/2 c. liquid shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine oats, sugar replacement, salt, vanilla and liquid shortening in medium bowl.
Stir to mix well.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Add beaten egg and chopped walnuts and stir to blend thoroughly.
Pack onto greased cookie sheet by small amount of cookie mixture (level teaspoonful).
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
