Walnut Crescents

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
Add vanilla; blend well.
Gradually blend in flour.
Stir in nuts. Shape a spoonful of dough into rolls about 3 inches long.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Pull ends down to form a crescent. Bake at 350Β° for 15 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool slightly on pan.
Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Dip ends in chocolate glaze and then in jimmies or coconut.
