Walnut Angel Food Cake

Whip egg whites until foamy.
Add salt and cream of tartar and continue to whip until they hold a point and are not dry.
Add 1/2 cup sugar slowly, then the extract.
Add flour, remaining sugar and nuts.
Bake in an ungreased pan for 30 to 40 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
