Vienna Apple Cake
Vienna Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg yolk, 2 tbsp. cold water, dash of salt, juice of 1/2 lemon and 1/2 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Together egg yolk, water, salt and lemon juice. Cream the butter.
Mixture. Add flour. Divide dough one piece out thin and fit into greased 12 x 6-inch pan. Peel and core apples and chop fine with raisins and almonds.
Spread mixture over dough in pan. Top with remaining dough, rolled out thin.
Brush with beaten egg.
Bake in hot oven at 400Β° for 45 minutes.
