Vidalia Onion Casserole
Vidalia Onion Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 5 large onions (4 c.), 1 stick margarine, 3 tbsp. flour, 2/3 c. milk and 8 oz. grated sharp cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Slice onions and saute in 1/2 stick margarine.
Melt the rest of the margarine in boiler on low heat; stir in flour, seasonings and milk.
Add grated cheese to this and let cheese melt. Alternate layers of onions and sauce in 1-quart baking dish.
Top with crumbs.
Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
Very rich, but good.
