Vi's Banana Cake
Vi'S Banana Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening (i use butter), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 large eggs, 2 c. sifted flour and 1/4 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream together shortening (I use butter), sugar and eggs. Beat in sifted flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in buttermilk, mashed bananas and pecan pieces.
Pour into layer pans or a 13 x 9-inch oblong pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes in an oblong pan or in layers for 25 minutes.
Use a dark chocolate frosting.
