Vestal Pecan Pie
Vestal Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. dark karo, 1 stick oleo, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 2 c. pecans and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
This recipe makes 2 (9-inch) deep dish pies.
Mix all ingredients except pecans well.
Fold in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake until set, approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
Center of pie will be slightly runny, but done when knife inserted comes out with grainy consistency.
