Very Blueberry Pie
Very Blueberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. cold water, 5 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 1 pinch salt, 4 c. fresh blueberries and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Rinse and drain blueberries.
Make a smooth paste of water, flour and salt.
Boil 1 cup of blueberries with the sugar and water.
Add the flour paste.
Stir until it thickens.
Remove from stove and cool.
When cool, add the remaining blueberries.
Put into baked pie shell.
Refrigerate.
When cold, garnish with sweetened whipped cream or whipped topping.
Serves 8.
