Vernice'S Chocolate Chip Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. crisco shortening, 2/3 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, packed and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Mix thoroughly the Crisco, butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Blend in remaining ingredients.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake until light brown (about 10 minutes).
Makes about 7 dozen.
