Peel and wash carrots and potatoes.

Cut up into small chunks. Place in the bottom of a crock-pot.

Put deer roast on top. Sprinkle Adolph's seasoning on meat.

Pour onion soup mix over roast.

Pour water over top and cover with lid.

Cook on low heat for approximately 6 to 8 hours, if able, or cook on high heat for approximately 4 hours and then lower setting to medium heat.

Use judgement, depending on size of meat.

Periodically, as juices develop, baste meat and vegetables.
