Vegetable Soup
Vegetable Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. beef cubes, 3 tbsp. beef base, 6 3/4 c. water, 1/2 c. chopped onion and 2/3 c. celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Brown beef cubes in large kettle.
Drain off excess fat.
Add beef base, water, onion, celery, thyme and potatoes.
Bring to a boil and simmer until vegetables are tender and meat is cooked, about 1 hour.
Add cabbage, tomatoes, salt, pepper and frozen vegetables.
Bring to a boil, then simmer until frozen vegetables are tender.
Makes 16 (1-cup) servings.
