Made with 1/2 head cabbage, sliced, 4 or 5 potatoes, sliced, 3 or more large onions, sliced, 1 qt. tomatoes, chopped or 1 qt. tomato juice and 1 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cover vegetables with water and boil gently for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
Add salt and seasonings.
