Vegetable Macaroni Salad
Vegetable Macaroni Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. macaroni, 1 large green pepper, chopped, 4 shredded carrots, 1 can sweetened condensed milk and 1 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook macaroni; drain and cool.
Add vegetables and mix well. Combine milk, vinegar, sugar, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
Add to macaroni mixture.
This will be almost soupy, but as it chills the liquid will be absorbed.
Mix thoroughly.
Chill at least 4 hours (or overnight) before serving.
