Vegetable Cheese Bake
Vegetable Cheese Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, 1/2 c. boiling water, 1/4 c. butter, 1/4 c. flour and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In a saucepan, combine vegetables and boiling water.
Bring to a boil again.
Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Drain well. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan.
Blend in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually stir in milk; simmer, stirring, until smooth and thick.
Add cheese and seasonings.
Mix in vegetables, onion and pimento.
Spread into buttered 1-quart casserole.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Good served with pork.
