Vanilla Wafer Cake
Vanilla Wafer Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter or margarine, 2 c. sugar, 6 eggs, 1/2 c. milk and 1 c. flaked coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add crushed wafers and milk; mix well.
Blend in the coconut and pecans.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan or Bundt pan at 275° for 50 minutes.
Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan at 275° for 35 minutes.
The top will be soft when done.
Let cool before removing from pan.
