Upside-Down Onion Corn Bread
Upside-Down Onion Corn Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. thinly sliced onion rings, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. corn bread mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In skillet, saute onion rings in butter until soft, about 5 to 8 minutes.
Spoon into bottom of an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Prepare corn bread mix according to package directions.
Pour batter over onions and spread evenly.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Turn out onto serving plate. Cut into squares. Serve hot.
