Upside-Down Date Pudding Cake
Upside-Down Date Pudding Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cut up dates, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/3 c. flour and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine dates and boiling water.
Let stand until cool.
Cream sugars, egg and melted butter until light.
Spoon flour and all dry ingredients together.
Add to creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts and dates.

Combine 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter and 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Pour carefully over batter.
