Under the Sea Salad
Under The Sea Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. lime gelatin, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. pear juice, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Drain pears and reserve syrup.
Dissolve gelatin in hot water and add 1 cup pear syrup and salt.
Pour thin layer of gelatin over bottom of 5-cup ring mold.
Chill until set.
Chill remaining gelatin until partially set.
Beat until foamy.
Add cheese and continue beating until smooth and stiff peaks form.
Fold pears into gelatin mixture.
Pour over gelatin layer.
Chill until set. Unmold on serving plate.
