Uncooked Tomato Relish
Uncooked Tomato Relish is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 gal. chopped ripe tomatoes, 2 large onions, chopped, 2 large green peppers, chopped, 1 medium hot pepper and 1 tsp. celery seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers, celery seed, and mustard seed.
Add salt.
Pour mixture into cheesecloth or colander, let drain overnight.
Add sugar and vinegar.
Put into sterilized jars and seal.
Makes 4 pints.
Will keep approximately 4 weeks, but it never lasts that long.
