Ultimate Chocolate Brownies

In a large bowl, combine cocoa and baking soda; blend in 1/3 cup of melted butter.
Add boiling water and stir until well blended.
Mix in sugar, eggs and remaining butter; blend in flour, vanilla and salt.
Stir in pecans and chocolate chunks.
Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
