Turtle Fudge
Turtle Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 3/4 c. oleo, 1 small can pet milk, 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces and 30 caramels, quartered, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Combine sugar, oleo and milk in heavy saucepan (2 1/2 to 3-quart size).
Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat until candy thermometer reaches 234Β° or soft ball stage, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat; add chocolate and stir until well blended.
Add remaining ingredients and beat until well blended.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cool at room temperature.
Cut into squares.
Makes 3 1/2 pounds.
