Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 german chocolate cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels, 3/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. evaporated milk and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt together the caramels, butter and milk.
Mix cake according to directions.
Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan and pour 1/2 batter into pan.
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Remove cake from oven.
Pour melted margarine over the half-baked cake. Top with chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour second half of cake batter over top.
Return to oven for another 20 to 30 minutes at 350°.
