Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 3/4 c. butter, 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels, 1 small pkg. butterscotch morsels and 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Make cake according to package directions.
Pour half of batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch glass dish.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Melt caramels, butter and milk.
Remove cake from oven.
Sprinkle butterscotch chips and nuts.
Pour caramel mixture over entire cake.
Top with remaining batter. Return to oven another 20 to 30 minutes.
Frost with Chocolate Frosting.
