Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix, 1 can eagle brand milk, 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, 1 c. nuts and 1 (12 oz.) pkg. kraft caramels, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix cake mix as directed except omit 1/4 cup of water and add 1/2 cup Eagle Brand milk to mix.
Pour 1/2 the batter in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Take out of oven and have ready the caramel mixture.
Melt caramels in 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk.
Pour over first 1/2 of cake in pan, sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over the caramel mixture.
Add remaining batter. Bake until done.
You may ice cake with chocolate icing.
This is a very rich cake.
