Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 german chocolate cake mix, 3/4 c. margarine, melted, 2/3 c. evaporated milk, 1 (14 oz.) bag light caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine cake mix, margarine and 2/3 cup evaporated milk.
Pour half of the batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Spread over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread remaining batter (will be very thick) over top. Return to oven at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
