Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 12 oz. pkg. kraft caramels, 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips, 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans and 1 stick oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix cake mix according to package.
Pour half into 9 x 13-inch greased floured bake 15 minutes at 350Β°. While baking, use heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine and melt butter, milk and caramels.
Pour mixture over half baked cake.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans on top, then pour batter over this and finish baking until done, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Needs no icing.
Serves 12.
