Made with 1 (18 1/2 oz.) box german chocolate cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) pkg. light caramels, 1/2 c. evaporated milk, 1 1/2 sticks (12 tbsp.) butter or oleo and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large bowl of electric mixer, prepare chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
Pour half the batter (reserve other half) into well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven.
