Turtle Cake
Turtle Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels, 3/4 c. margarine, 1/2 c. evaporated milk and 1 to 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Unwrap caramels and melt on low heat with margarine and evaporated milk.
While those are melting, make cake mix as directed on box.
Pour 1/2 of cake mixture into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven, pour melted caramel mixture over, then sprinkle on chocolate chips.
Pour remaining cake batter on top; spread to cover.
Bake for another 20 minutes.
