Half the batter into greased and floured 9 x

13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.

Caramels evaporated milk and butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.

Pour over baked layer.

Pour remaining batter caramel layer. Sprinkle with 1 cup nuts.

Bake for 20 minutes longer.
