Turkey Pasta Sauce
Turkey Pasta Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. olive oil, 2 medium onions, chopped, 3 carrots, chopped, 3 stalks celery, chopped and 1 lb. turkey italian sausage (we use diestel sausage, available at pure sausage and meat on pershing), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Saute chopped vegetables in olive oil in a large pot on medium-high heat for about 10 minutes.
Add turkey sausage and turkey and crumble; cook at medium heat, crumbling turkey and stirring until turkey loses pink color.
If using wine, add wine and cook at medium-high heat until most of wine liquid has evaporated.
Add the tomatoes (chop some of the tomatoes in the pot with a spatula, if whole) and lower heat to keep simmering.
Simmer one or two hours.
Serve over your favorite pasta.
More than enough sauce for one pound of pasta.
